Pitch Blog

Starting off with our first pitch which was, A young teen is sent to be questioned at the police station and while she persuades the officers into believing she is innocent she has flashbacks about how she murdered the little girl. The police already know she is the killer but they want to know why she did what she did.
a 15 year old girl who is alone in this big world has a liking for killing. She kills for fun, kills for any reason she believes is wrong. While people suspect that she is a serial killer she seems like the most innocent girl alive.
The 15 year old and her neighbor are having a conversation and while it all seems normal, the older girl is imagining ways of how to murder the neighbor. She finds the perfect way to kill and while she thinks it will all go along with plan her neighbor is thinking about the same thing.
When we pitched we each suggested an idea and weighed them out. We each decided that going with the pitch about the 'thrill kill' would be easiest because it is based on a true story. So rather than try and come up with how to start it we are going to do a flashback scene of our main character killing her best friend. Then we are going to see her getting interviewed by the police where they tell her they know she did it. We went with this idea because we have had this since the beginning of the year. We also picked it because we all like murder mystery  movies and wanted to see what it would feel like to star in one.
